review- Lush angels on bare skin cleanser

I'm sure just like me whenever you walk past lush you smell that amazing scent and are drawn into the store. I had been researching some of their skin products such as cleansers, masks etc. and after hearing so many good reviews I made a trip to lush.
I was greeted by that lovely sweet smell and the bubbly staff that worked there. One of the lovely ladies showed me some of the products best suited to acne prone skin like me and she showed me how they worked and what ingredients they had in them. she suggested I try out the angels on bare skin cleanser. It sounded great and exactly what I wanted!
the cleanser comes in a small tub and is a sort of clay like texture which you mix with water to form a paste then massage onto your face. I have never used a cleanser like this before so I was very curious to see how it would work out.

first night I used it.. It was great! made my skin feel so smooth and fresh and then the next morning I woke up... I had 2 or 3 large sore pimples coming up. now for me getting pimples is a normal thing and since it was time Mother Nature was paying me a monthly visit ( if you get my drift) i never really thought it would of been the cleanser breaking me out. So I continued to use it for 2 more nights and my skin just continued to get worse. I have honestly never had my skin break out so badly ever!
my mum suggested to me that it might acually be the cleanser breaking me out so I stopped using it for a week and I let my skin clear up a bit... I then tested it again and the next day those giant ugly pimples were back.
I am honestly so disappointed :( I thought this would be the perfect product for me but I guess it wasn't
I will be taking this back to lush soon to exchange for something else

on a lighter note I also picked up the up the grease lightning spot treatment which has worked wonders for clearing up those nasty breakouts from the cleaner! I really love this product and probably will repurchase it when it runs out

iherb order- Real technique brushes and Elf cosmetics

hello lovelies!
the other day i was looking around on online websites that sell makeup and dreaming about all the products i am wanting.. as you do.. and i came across Iherb. I had heard about this site before from many other beauty bloggers and instagrammers and i decided to see what all the fuss was about . I had no intention of purchasing anything since i am on a spending ban.. woops.. but I was sold as soon as i saw the cheap prices for real technique brushes.
This is my first time ordering off this website and i am so impressed. After i placed my order i instantly received a confirmation email and then the next day another email to say my order was shipped. I ordered this stuff on Friday and received it on Monday the following week. Considering it was coming from America i am so happy with that.

So these are the products i ordered...

Real techniques Blush brush

holy moly this brush is so freaking soft! it seems like it might be too big to apply blush but I'll see how it goes

Real techniques powder brush

this is huge!! not to sure about this one but I'll give it a go.

elf cosmetics blush and bronzer duo in st lucia- i have been wanting this for quite a while and for the price of $3.50 how could i refuse. It is kind of annoying how the bronzer is shimmery I would've preffered a matte one for contouring but so far it seems really great

and lucky last elf cosmetics baked blush in peachy cheeky- i have heard mixed reviews about this and i have never tried a baked blush before so this will be an interesting product to try out. it is not very pigmented at all so I don't think I would use it as a blush but It is quite a nice pinky highlight shade

in total this order came to $29.95 including shipping so i wasnt really breaking the bank too much.
from now on i will be on a much stricter spending ban until the end of the month!

favourite nail polishes 💅

hi lovelies,
this blog post is dedicated to showing you my favourite nail polishes of the moment. I am a total nail polish hoarder! I recently chucked out about 10 bottles that had gone all gross or we're used up. I have narrowed this list down to just 5 nail polishes which was so hard because I equally love all of my nail polishes

okay first of all is the colour orange blossom from ulta3
I recently painted my nails with this colour and I love it! and for an extra bonus I'm pretty sure these are only 1 or $2

next up is nude chic from revlon

perfect nude nail colour that is not to noticeable but looks amazing at the same time

next is Maybelline colour show in porcelain party

this is the perfect white colour I really love this

another revlon favourite of mine.. Vixen

this is my go to winter shade (when I'm not at school because sadly I'm not allowed bright nail polish at school)

and last but not least is speedy sunburst from Sally Hansen

I love this colour because the brush is quite larger and I find it easier to apply. Also it dries a lot faster than any other nail polish I own

It was so hard for me to only pick 5 but these are the ones I probably use the most

hope you enjoyed

Review and swatches of Maybelline Colour tatoos

Hi Lovelies,
today i will be reviewing the Maybelline colour tattoo's.
I only have 4 of these but i am seriously in love! They are so creamy and pigmented and they last a long time. I really love wearing these as a base for eye shadow or sometimes even on their own they look amazing.
I own five of these but unfortunately i lost one so i only have four at the moment.
The colours i own are:
Inked in Pink

This is a gorgeous pink colour and it is so wearable. I think it looks especially good on brown eyes

Barely Branded

This is my favorite out of the ones i own. It is a gorgeous champagne colour and i wear this on a regular basis just for a simple eye look. I would say this is my go to eye shadow product at the moment.

Bold Gold

I only picked this one up about 3 days ago and i am yet to use it but the swatches are absolutely beautiful! i cant wait to try it out

Audacious Asphalt

This colour is great as a base for a dark smoky eye look. The only thing i dont like about this one is that it is very shimmery and sometimes has shimmery fall out..which i dont really understand because it is a cream product.

And i did own Tough as Taupe but sadly have misplaced it :(

Overall i really enjoy using these products! I wish they had a larger range of colours in Australia. These cost around $11.95 and you can pick them up pretty much anywhere that sells Maybelline makeup

Thanks for reading
